According to most statistics over the past decade or so, obesity is becoming rampant around the world in developed countries. Even our pets are fat. Perhaps the good life isn’t so good after all. What if living in the lap of luxury is expanding our laps, our naps and killing us softly with clogged arteries. We would all love to get trim, if it didn’t require any effort. The truth is, it does require effort.
Welcome to Trim™, where Diane Mielk shares her personal tidbits on eating habits, exercise techniques and healthy advice on how to adjust your lifestyle and slim down. Di has traveled the world and amidst all the exotic locales, rich cuisines and diverse cultures, she has maintained her good health and a consistent commitment to exercise, yet hasn’t limited her love of life, food and fun.
Three lovely birds, eh?
I call her Hummingbird because she can’t sit still. When everyone else is sleeping in, she’s bright-eyed and bushy-tailed by Oh-Dark-Thirty (another name we considered for the show) at the gym, either in a spin class or working out with weights to keep fit but feminine.
Di believes she stays in shape as much by what she doesn’t eat as what she does. She’ll share these tempting tidbits on Trim™ along with photos and tales of her adventures as a corporate flight attendant.
Her laughter, ideas on health and charming personality will pull you in. The things you learn could make you Trim™, if you can flip that switch of desire that only you can reach . . . deep inside behind the doubts, fears or fantasies that trap you. Whether flying, sailing or walking around the world, you have to set your trim properly to reach your destination.
Chart your course, trim your vessel and follow the winds of change to a place you’ve never been – Trim™.
Isn’t it time to get thin? You’ll feel better. You’ll look better and you’ll live longer. Do it for you. Do it for your children and grandchildren. Do it today. Get Trim!

I believe that every consumer good or food item should be labeled with the amount of energy used to create it, package it and ship it to your location. Just as we count calories, sodium and sugar content, each product should have a carbon footprint warning to enlighten the consumer about how much energy is wasted by the purchase of that piece of plastic crap from China.
