Open Belly Button

Do you have an inny or an outy? If you have a chubby little belly, then it may be hard to tell. Di was in Houston through the weekend, visiting friends, and she took the time to call me while on the road to discuss spinning and what opening up your belly button means. Hmm . . .

She also took T-Rex with her to impress the boys and keep her very Trim machine in peak condition. Di’s an affiliate with T-Rex Fitness and her website, www.trimdi.com, is coming soon. You will be able to visit her site and find out more about the T-Rex, fitness on the road and eating healthy.

Di sent me some photos from her Houston trip to post for you. It was great to hear the thunderstorm in the background as we were recording. I feel for anyone who’s sweltering in 100+ heat. We could use some rain, here, in the Pacific Northwest. Send some our way, please.

Join Di on her travels around the world as a corporate flight attendant. She’ll call me whenever she gets a free moment in between flights, sight-seeing, working out and generally living life large while staying Trim. We intend to bring you a couple shows, each week, depending upon her hectic schedule.

Di's sandwich

Don't eat a sandwich bigger than your head

One of the main health tips that Di advocates is eating smaller portions. She eats 5 – 6 tinier meals, each day, and after years of cardio workouts, plus anaerobic training to build muscle, Di understands what it takes to get Trim and stay trim. Muscle burns calories around the clock and she has the metabolism of a hummingbird. Watch one fly around gathering its nectar. It’s always burning off what it’s eating. Learn from nature.

house made of beer cans

This house looks Shlitzy, don'tcha think?

It’s okay to indulge in your favorite libation, but I wouldn’t suggest drinking enough beer to build a house, especially not in one weekend. You can eat the foods you crave, just pull back from the table, sooner. Get outside and walk around. Burn off your meal. Whatever you ingest must be worked off. There is absolutely no other way that’s healthy to do it, no matter what anyone tries to sell you.

We hope you enjoy Trim and decide to get in better shape. Di will let you know when her website is ready. If her schedule doesn’t change, she’ll be calling in from Manila in the Philippines on the next show. Please tell a friend and join us, again, for Trim.

The wind’s of change are blowing in your direction. Come along for the ride!

Have you forgotten your roots? When was the last time you climbed a tree? Would you eat a turtle or shape a pear? Or do you just sit there pear-shaped on the couch after a huge meal and never bother to work any of it off?
